Philly punk trio Cayetana just announced that the record release show for their highly anticipated debut Nervous Like Me will happen at The Golden Tea House September 7th.

Throughout the year, Cayetana has teased several songs from the album, including “Dirty Laundry” – which they played during their Space Jam Session – “Hot Dad Caledar” and its basement party, and most recently “Scott, Get The Van I’m Moving” via AV Club. The band also did a moving version of “Miss Thing” for Weathervane Music’s Shaking Through series, which the band first performed during their Key Studio Session.

In her interview with Stereogum, lead vocalist Augusta Koch talked about embracing the punk rock scene in Philly. She states “Philly is a very compelling place. I’m clearly biased but it is such an unbelievably supportive scene.”

Cayetana will be playing with Chumped, The Spirit of the Beehive and Albondigas.  Get more info about the show here. Listen to the first track, “Serious Things Are Stupid” from Nervous Like Me below.
