This Saturday night, October 25th, Diego Garcia returns to Philly to the Tin Angel. The last time he visited town was when he played the XPoNential Music Festival this past summer in July. During his set at the festival, accompanied by his guitarist, Diego performed material from his 2011 debut, Laura, and his latest release, Paradise, that came out in October, 2013. With stand out songs like “Laura,” “You Were Never There,” and “Sunnier Days” in his catalog, now we have a “new” song from Garcia to add to that body of work. It’s a previously unreleased tune called “Jenny and Juan.” The song is from Garcia’s Paradise recording sessions, and tells the tale of new lovers bound together by the power and passion of music and the love they have for each other. Sadly, the couple don’t stay together, even though they’re both haunted by the aching love between them. Its a tender, sad, love song. Listen to the “Jenny And Juan” below.

No matter what the setting, seeing Diego in concert is an intimate, engaging and fun time from a singer-songwriter who knows how to entertain. For tickets and more information about the Diego’s show this Saturday evening at the Tin Angel at 8:30 go here.
