Just in time for tomorrow’s Free At Noon, stream the new album by Parkay Quarts
The newest release from the Parquet Courts/Parkay Quarts camp, Content Nausea, is out in the States digitally next Monday. The band is calling is somewhere between an EP and an LP and is the second collection of songs recorded under the Parkay Quarts moniker. It comes only five months after the release of PQ’s Sunbathing Animal. With one member of the band finishing a degree in mathematics, and another starting a family, Content Nausea features mostly the work of Andrew Savage and Austin Brown, with the help of a couple of friends (Jackie-O Motherfucker’s Jef Brown on saxaphone and Eaters’ Bob Jones on fiddle). The band are playing a sold out show this Saturday night at PhilaMOCA, with locals Amanda X opening, however the band will be playing a Free At Noon at World Cafe Live tomorrow. RSVP for the show here.
