Philly indie pop trio The Fleeting Ends have just released a music video for their new song “Can’t Say No.” The video tags along with the band and some friends as they road trip around the city utilizing a vintage, 90’s-style camcorder resulting in vibrantly colored scenes and a fun, summery atmosphere. The band says the song was a bit of an enigma, taking over a year and a half to complete with more than five possible titles, finally landing on “Can’t Say No.”  Now, with the song completed, lead singer Matt Vantine explains in a press announcement the track’s particular importance to him:

It somehow seemed that this was the song that would sum the record up in all of it’s pop magnetism. Pop that seemed so happy and care free on the outside, but was, in a way, burdened with the depressing Vantine lyrics.

The Fleeting Ends are in the midst of a residency at MilkBoy this month; they play every Wednesday throughout November, and will have physical copies of their new Can’t Say No EP available at the final show on Wednesday, November 26th.
