Healthy Philadelphia hosting health insurance info session for musicians at Johnny Brenda’s

Healthy Philadelphia will host an information session on healthcare for musicians next Saturday, January 31st at Johnny Brenda’s. The workshop was organized with the goal of educating and assisting working musicians who do not have healthcare, helping them understand the benefits of signing up and how to enroll in the service. From Healthy Philadelphia:

[So] many people in the music industry do not have health insurance. We know that many low income people thought, after being turned away last year, that [this service] is not for them but now that Pennsylvania has finally expanded medical assistance, almost all Pennsylvanians will be eligible for health insurance and the peace of mind it can bring.
