TJ Kong puts a spin on Purples’ “Standard Human” for Cover Club

As if seeing a Philadelphia group showing support to another Philadelphia group isn’t the best thing ever, hearing Philly artists cover one another takes it further.  TJ Kong and the Atomic Bomb recently showed off a very stripped down and acoustic version of Purples’ uptempo indie rock track “Standard Human” for Root Down in the Shadow’s Cover Club series. Although not what we’ve come to know from the song, TJ Kong offers a very snug and polished rendition that will be sure to leave you satisfied.
