Indie rockers Oldermost preview “A Drink (Or Two)” from upcoming EP
We see Oldermost frontman Bradford Bucknum watching television with a disgruntled demeanor in the Philly band’s new video for “A Drink (Or Two).” But instead of flipping the old school set off, Bucknum takes his static TV for a walk in a stroller around his Philadelphia neighborhood only to be laughed at by his band mates. Later, he falls asleep in the woods next to his television, which is screening a fire to give him warmth.
The track itself opens with Bucknum’s soul-packed vocals spouting “Lock me in the bedroom, throw away the key.” The deepening piano chords slowly mix with a simple drum beat. But as with most Oldermost songs, this track transforms over time via a psychedelic guitar riffs reminiscent of Dr. Dog. The Philly five-piece also released a teaser for their upcoming album, which showcases even more catchy indie rock harmonies. It’s Difficult To Know Anything At All is due out March 24.
