With their avant-folk influences, Delaware Water Gap-based Lewis & Clarke take you on a instrumental adventure in their Castle Inn Session. The black-and-white recording showcased tracks from Lewis & Clarke’s latest release, Triumvirate. The half-hour session opens with the eight-minute “Black Cloud,” blending the clear-cut vocals of Lou Rogai and classic, jazz percussion influences. Triumvirate is a 75-minute album released through Rogai’s label, La Société Expéditionnaire. Lewis & Clarke will be playing a show in the Lehigh Valley on Feb. 28 with VoirVoir, and Goodnight Stars and Goodnight Air at the Alternative Gallery in Allentown. More information on the show here.
