Matt O’Donnell started a cover band and they’re playing the Phoenixville Molly Maguire’s tonight

You’ll probably recognize Matt O’Donnell either from Channel 6 as the co-anchor of 6ABC’s Morning News, or from XPN’s many blog posts mentioning him. But behind that clean-cut made-for-TV-face is actually a stone-cold rocker and metalhead waiting to be unleashed.

Good thing for Matt, he has a musical outlet playing drums in Champs, which also features Matt Cummins on vocals and guitar, Manny Demutis on keyboards, and Jon Heller on bass. And guess what? You can see them tonight at Molly Maguire’s Pub in Phoenxville. Be sure to check them out because there’s no cover, great music and free beer! (okay, I lied about that last part, but come anyway! It’ll be fun!)
