With a new record on the horizon, Lushlife has released a different sort of project this month. The local rapper created a new website called Designflow, a convergence of creativity and commerce geared toward people who “dig well-designed products and ambitious art as much as [he does]….”

So what does that mean? For now, Designflow is a Reddit-style website of curated products ranging from utilitarian bookcases to a glow-in-the-dark blanket for kids who are afraid of the dark. The content is updated daily and users can “upvote” the products they like best.

In the future, products with high amounts of upvotes will have the opportunity to be featured in the Designflow store, bringing in an Etsy-like aspect to the community website.

Anyone can submit a product or artwork for consideration by following the guidelines posted here. While we wait for his follow-up to 2012’s Plateau Vision check out “Jacuzzi,” a collaboration between Lushlife and Antwon, here.
