This Tuesday, Philly rapper Kuf Knotz releases his long-awaited sophomore LP, A Positive Light, via local label Ropeadope Records. To celebrate, he’s got two shows in the area this weekend: a release party at Frankie Bradley’s on Saturday, March 28th, and a slot opening for Zach Deputy at the Sellersville Theater on Sunday, March 29th.

Today, Kuf stopped by WXPN studios to chat on the air with midday host Helen Leicht about the album and growing up in the area, the making of A Positive Light, and played two songs from the album. Listen to the interview in its entirety below, and get information on this weekend’s shows at the XPN Concert Calendar.
