Awesome Event Alert: Temple University Libraries will host a panel on music in the digital age

Here’s a perfect pre-National Record Store Day event, “The Art of the Album in the Digital World,” lead by Ally-Jane Grossan, the editor of Bloomsbury’s 33 1/3 Series, as well as Cameron Schaefer of Vinyl Me, Please, a record-of-the-month delivery service.

This is a great opportunity for not just local artists, but for those interested in learning about:

…how music-listening has changed in the digital age, about the album-as-art-form, about the difference in listening mediums, and about how criticism has had to adapt to follow suit.
