Allison Polans plays soulful acoustic track “Hesitate” for The Random Tea Sessions
Although jazzy rock group Papertrees hasn’t been together in some time, singer/guitarist Allison Polans has kept busy working with The York Street Hustle and Aaron & The Spell. This week, the soulful singer was featured in the latest video in the Random Tea Sessions series.
Polans, accompanied by another former papertrees member Nate Gonzalez on electric guitar, played the soothing track “Hesitate.” In the beginning, she slowly bobs her head as she strums cutting acoustic chords. Gonzalez’s jazz-influenced riffs transform into a rock ‘n roll sound almost effortlessly. The duo’s harmonies are breathtaking as they sing “I could tell that you were always on your way home.” You can catch Allison Polans playing with The York Street Hustle on April 24 at Franky Bradley’s.
