Indie pop and dancing potatoes: watch Readership’s new “Easy” video

When Adrian Morse opens the new Readership single with the lyric, “They say good girls don’t swear / They just get even / They go so easy on the eyes / Until you’re kicking and screaming,” the last thing you’d envision is a dancing potato.

But the homemade visuals for the track portray a romantic spud story, and it’s surprisingly one of the most entertaining music videos I’ve seen in a while.

The Philly / West Chester band made the song available for free download via their Bandcamp page, and will perform at The HeadHouse on May 1; more information on the show can be found at its Facebook Event page.
