Clap Your Hands Say Yeah (2005)

Remember Clap Your Hands Say Yeah’s debut? Well, how could you forget? The 2005 album has received critical acclaim, and was even listed as one of the 50 most important recordings of the decade by NPR’s All Song’s Considered.

To commemorate such an accomplished release, the Philadelphia-based band has set a release date (June 2) for a remastered reissue of the album. And what’s the best color for a re-release? Gold, of course. The album will be pressed on gold vinyl. The reissue will include 12 new cassette tape recordings by frontman Alec Ounsworth.

The band will play their debut in full on their 2015 tour route. Starting on  May 27th at Johnny Brenda’s and running through early August, the band will also be playing a series of intimate living room shows.  Check the dates listed below:
