For almost 15 years, Dr. Dog has reigned supreme as one of the greatest Indie rock acts to come out of Pennsylvania. With tracks like “Shadow People” off of their 2009 album Shame, Shame becoming an XPN staple and a total of nine albums – including one live album – the band’s run has been nothing short of brilliant.

This summer we will see Dr. Dog take on the Yuengling Summer Stage series at Bethlehem’s SteelStacks on September 25. It’s the band’s only regional appearance during their 2015 tour, but for Philadelphians, it will all be worth it to catch Dr. Dog’s live spectacle.  The band’s most recent release, Live At A Flamingo Hotel, captures that live energy, and the guys showcased it in person for us last week at NonCOMM (check out video from that performance below, and listen to their entire set here).

Tickets for the show go on sale to the public this Friday, May 22nd; for more information on the show, go to the XPN Concert Calendar.
