Night Market, Philadelphia’s favorite street food festival, returns this year in the Callowhill district of Philadelphia (aka The Eraserhood) on June 18. The festival celebrates the city’s restaurants, gourmet food trucks, and coolest neighborhoods. There will be street eats abound, plenty of art galleries, and what we care most about at The Key – live music!

This year, beloved art space / venue PhilaMOCA – recently named one of the “21 ways Philadelphia is the coolest city in America” by the Huffington Post – will be co-presenting the musical acts performing at Night Market.

PhilaMOCA Director Eric Bresler selected a diverse group of local musical acts for the evening. Here is the scheduled lineup:

NEEDLE POINTS – Psychedelic Street Level Boogie

LOS BOMBEROS DE LA CALLE – Puerto Rican Bomba and Plena music

THE BUL BEY – Young Philadelphia MC

WILD BY LAW – Synth-driven alternative rockers

THIN LIPS – Heavy, riffy, hooky punk

Throughout the event, you can also witness special short performances from multiple PhilaMOCA favorites, including roving mariachi Mitch Esparza (The Love Club) and the 12-year-old mayor of the Eraserhood/mascot of PhilaMOCA, Lil Sean.

Regular Trestle Inn DJ Retro Roland will spin between sets.

Night Market is on Thursday, June 18, from 6-10 PM. It’s located on 12th Street and 13th Street between Spring Garden Street and Callowhill Street. Find more info here.
