Bird Watcher announce debut LP, share free single “Spinning Feel”
It’s been exciting to follow Bird Watcher‘s path over the last year and a half, from the poignant and very personal release of “The Great West” and subsequent singles in the winter of 2014 to their ever-growing number of live shows around the city. This week the band announced another big milestone; their debut LP Old Black on the Elk will be released digitally and on vinyl this fall.
To mark this announcement, the band (which includes Sleepy Hollow host Julian Booker, Jesse Soifer and a caravan of talented friends) has shared the record’s first single “Spinning Feel” as a free download. Joining it on the LP will be six brand new songs, along with re-recorded and re-mastered versions of older tracks.
You can celebrate the release of Old Black on the Elk along with the band at Boot & Saddle on October 2nd. Or, if you need your fix sooner, head out to Lancaster’s Live on Vine festival on July 11th. Stream and download “Spinning Feel” below.
