Dance along Graffiti Pier with Julia Rainer in the “One Of Us Is Dead” video
This spring, Philly singer-songwriter Julia Rainer released her latest album, Now I’ll Be Free. It’s a catchy and emotional blend of poppy melodies and heart-wrenching delivery – reminiscent at turns of The Cranberries, Cowboy Junkies and Sixteen Horsepower. Today, Rainer released a music video for the lead single “One Of Us Is Dead.”
Shot along Fishtown’s Graffiti Pier by Rainer and Dom Malandro, the video features local dancer Diego Fortunato twirling and leaping, kicking up dust and twisting his body around pillars as Rainer sings an aching yet ultimately uplifting melody.
Watch the video below and see Rainer this Friday at Milkboy when she opens for Zayre Mountain; tickets and more information can be found at the XPN Concert Calendar.
