PREMIERE: Skinny Dip hang with friends in video for “Rick’s Couch”
Quakertown, PA emo band Skinny Dip are prepping for the release of their Sever EP with premiere of a video for album track “Rick’s Couch.” The album will be out via Endless Bummer Records on September 22nd.
The timelapse video was filmed over the course of an hour in one take, a feat that must have required intense patience on the part of “Rick.” Friends filter in and out of the room as “Rick” sits mostly motionless on the center cushion, staring straight ahead. In the second part of the clip, we see Skinny Dip playing the song live on the television set “Rick” is looking at.
