Last night, Tame Impala took the Tower Theater stage to a sold-out crowd of eager fans awaiting their first taste of live music from the band’s third studio album, Currents. After much anticipation, the opening “Let It Happen” set the tone for the evening of truly immersive audio and visual experience. Highlights included “Alter Ego,” “Eventually” and “Feels Like We Only Go Backwards,” and midway through the set, lead singer Kevin Parker took a passionate fan’s request for “Half Full Glass of Wine” to the crowd’s delight.
