Scranton-to-Philly transplants Three Man Cannon had a badass record in last year’s Pretty Many People, and though they experienced a setback last fall when they had a bunch of gear stolen from their van, the dudes persevered and are coming out with a new EP next month. It’s called Will I Know You Then, and it’s out via Lame-O Records on November 6th, and if the song premiered on Stereogum today is anything to go by, it’s simultaneously more accessible and more daring. Opening on a howling noise snippet, it launches into a swift drumbeat and a warm and fuzzy vocal melody that dare-I-say hedges around Kings of Leon vocal territories.

Check the song out below via Lame-O’s Bandcamp, where you can also grab a preorder. The band plays a label showcase at CMJ on Saturday, October 17th, then returns to Philly the following week for a Girard Hall gig on Friday, October 23rd.
