There are 60 hours left in WKDU’s Electronic Music Marathon and they’re going to be incredible
Do you like to dance? Then cancel your weekend plans, call out of work on Monday, turn down the lights and turn up Drexel’s student-run station WKDU. They’re 18 hours into their 12th annual Electronic Music Marathon, it’s only noon, and the beats are fierce. Last night Joe Patatucci from Data Garden played music from plants (really) for two hours, with Foreign Affairs following for two hours in the late night. Right now, Kevin Rucker is wrapping a set of bright and beautiful house jams. Tomorrow sees celeb sets from Spank Rock, Dev 79, and Jack Deezl.
The full schedule can be found here. And if you can only listen to part of the party, the home stretch is the time you don’t want to miss: King Britt from 1 to 3 on Monday, followed by Matthew Law, Rich Medina and Cosmo Baker till 7. Then, after you catch your breath, Dave P shuts it down from 10:30 to midnight. Woah.
Tune in to EMM 2015 here.
