Sonnder are a band that know how to capture the essence of a season and put it in a song. October’s “Silhouettes” did that with an ominous ode to Halloween, and now November’s “Pink” pulls on the dark heaviness of late-night autumn.

It’s the eleventh installment in Sonnder’s single-a-month project, taking the local band in a down-tempo, synth-heavy direction that glitches and glides; it wouldn’t be out of place in a Nightmare Before Christmas-themed playlist.

Listen to “Pink” below and see Sonnder at World Cafe Live on December 19th with Nathan Allebach, Summer Scouts and The GoAround. Tickets and information can be found here.
