A don’t-miss double bill with singer-songwriters Jesse Marchant and Heather Woods Broderick
There’s an excellent double singer-songwriter bill coming to the Tin Angel on Friday, December 18th. Singer-songwriter Jesse Marchant is headlining, along with opener Heather Woods Broderick.
Broderick’s name, and voice, may be familiar to Sharon Van Etten fans: she is a touring member of her band, and has released her own beautiful records as well, including this year’s Glider.
Headlining the show is Jesse Marchant, (the New York via Montreal artist formerly known as JBM). He’s got a new collection of B-Sides, 7 & the Fall, which burn as brightly as his A-sides. The introspective singer-songwriter has flown under-the-radar, but is every bit as good your somber, contemplative singer-songwriter of choice. He puts on an entrancing live show, and with Heather Woods Broderick opening, this show at the Tin Angel promises to be intense and emotionally captivating.
Below, watch “Wyoming” from Broderick, and the title song, “7 & the Fall” from Marchant’s latest release. Go here for tickets for the show at Tin Angel.
