Beach Slang announce nationwide tour, concluding May 21st at Union Transfer
Beach Slang had a 2015 to remember. The Philly four-piece released their stellar second album, The Things We Do To Find People Who Feel Like Us, mastered their brand of guitar-laden punk rock, and found themselves receiving heaps of national praise.
It seems the group has every intention of maintaining this momentum, having just announced a new nationwide tour, which will conclude at Union Transfer on May 21st. For a band whose last Philly show was at First Unitarian Church, playing Union Transfer is a significant step up. Needless to say, frontman James Alex is feeling psyched about this development, writing on the band’s Facebook page, “Remember how I said that thing about thinking maybe you’re allowed to dream bigger? This is that. I am flipped out and humbled and really floored that someone thinks we belong there.”
You can get tickets to the show here. Meanwhile, listen to their track “Bad Art & Weirdo Things” below.
