Tonight’s Concert Pick: Blackalicious at World Cafe Live at the Queen

They had a ten-year break between 2005’s The Craft and last year’s Imani Vol. 1, but Sacramento hip hop duo Blackalicious is back, and in grinding mode once again. MC Gift of Gab told fans last year that Imani was the first part of a trilogy that will be released over the next few years. Tonight the band plays World Cafe Live at the Queen, so maybe we’ll get a taste of Volume 2 in the set. Tickets and more information can be found at the XPN Concert Calendar.
