W.C. Lindsay announces hiatus, but also not?
In a recent Facebook post, Philly dance-punks W.C. Lindsay have announced that they will be taking a short break from making music together, but promise much more music to come in the future.
We here at The Key are not exactly sure what to make of this. We are both saddened and excited. According to the band’s post:
Going forward, there are two things you should know. The first is that we are neither stopping nor slowing down, we are merely bring a major chapter to a close. We love each other like brothers and will continue making music together. We’ll tell you more about what the future of our music will look like soon. The second is that we have a few shows to play before we truly close up shop. We are incredibly excited to share these songs with you at what will most likely be some of the most memorable shows we will ever play. We’ll tell you more about them very soon.
The band has not yet announced any upcoming dates, but they most likely will soon. As soon as we know, we will make sure to let you know. It’s good to know the band will be continuing their unique brand of stadium punk-rock combined with electronic instrumentation, while even still taking it in different directions. Stay tuned!
