Nothing join the afterlife in their new video for “Eaten By Worms”
Shoegaze punks Nothing have shared the music video for their Tired Of Tomorrow single “Eaten By Worms” via Rolling Stone.
Tired Of Tomorrow, Nothing’s second album with Relapse Records, is out May 13th. The band previously shared the video for single “Vertigo Flowers” earlier this month. “Eaten By Worms” channels Nirvana/Smashing Pumpkins musically while its lyrics echo the Pixies. Vocalist Dominic Palermo sings, “It’s educational, it’s recreational” while the band builds to the song’s vividly noisy climax.
The video portrays a home invasion where an altercation goes south and that the band describes as exploring “the realm between life and death, reality and dream.” Palermo is then taken into a Neverland-like afterlife where his childhood self dances with the King of Pop.
