Stream the new Mercury Girls single, “Ariana”
Philly indie-pop quintet Mercury Girls have released their newest single, “Ariana”, which premiered this week over at Brooklyn Vegan.
The song comes as a quick two-minute punch of catchy and synthy indie rock with a punk underbelly. It’s everything you want out of a single – a mission statement-like driving force, sing-a-along chorus, and a bright and shimmery sweetness that brightens up your day.
MercGirls have a bunch of upcoming Philly shows: a DJ Set at Philamoca on May 12th (with Radiator Hospital, Spook School, Bent Shapes, and Littler), then full band at Underground Arts on May 15th (with King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard), Space 1026 on May 20th (with The Snow Fairies and My Favorite), and Johnny Brenda’s on June 14th (With Flowers and Beverly). For tickets to all of these shows, check out the XPN Concert Calendar.
