With their finger ever on the pulse of the latest and greatest in local music, R5 announced via Twitter that they added Wild at Heart to the Radioactivity show that will hit PhilaMOCA on June 13th. The group, described by R5 as “one of the best new Philly punk bands,” released its first set of songs on Bandcamp this week.

Tour Tape 2016, which the four-piece band recorded with Kyle Gilbride of Swearin’, is raw and unadorned, a fresh step back to classic punk. Think the hard / fast riffage of The Germs and X Ray Spex, with a surprisingly awesome touch of lap steel guitar on “The Haunted.”

Listen to the EP below; copies are available to purchase via email from Sensual World Records. Tickets and information for the all-ages show at PhilaMOCA can be found here.
