Tonight at Rembrandt’s, 41 bands will be paying homage to the great songwriter Bob Dylan, in celebration of his 75th birthday. The 10th annual Bob Dylan Birthday Bash will be hosted by Jon Houlon and Kenn Kweder, and will feature a special guest appearance by Gene Shay, former Folk Show host on WXPN and Philadelphia Folk Festival MC. Shay was the first person to bring Dylan to Philadelphia to perform for the first time in 1963 at the Ethical Society.

This year’s birthday bash includes performances from Jim Boggia, Ben Arnold, Sarah Larsen, Hannah Taylor, Erik Sayles, Saul Broudy, Peter Stone Brown, Skip Denenberg, Lauren Hart, Slo-Mo w/ Lance Davis, The Molly Blooms, David Falcone, the Philadelphia Ukulele Orchestra, TC Cole, Jim Dragoni, John Byrne, Mike LeCompt, Dave J., Nicki Sbaffoni, Chris Palmer, Mia Johnson, Cowmuddy, Nalani & Sarina, Great Craic, Brian Seymour, Nik Everett, Michael Tearson, Mike Maguire, The Knife & Fork Band, Stephan Hayes, David Rowan, Jaime Olson, Dawn Hiatt, Dan Rees w/Don Van Winkle, Major, Stephen Marmel, Kevin Monko, Jason Cohn, Chris Palmer and more.
