Today for #TBTXPN, WXPN is throwing the musical spotlight on new wave in all its post-punk, synth-pop glory. On the last Friday of each month, WXPN’s Robert Drake hosts Land Of The Lost, from 7 p.m.-11 p.m. Each month Drake busts out a mix of cult classics and new wave anthems. Every once in a while he gets musicians behind the microphone as was the case with Dave Wakeling of The English Beat, Stan Ridgway of Wall of Voodoo, Chris Frantz and Tina Weymouth of the Talking Heads and Tom Tom Club, and Peter Murphy, the former lead singer of Bauhuas.

You can listen to archives of Robert’s Land Of The Lost here, and below, have a listen to some of his interviews.
