Watch Dean Ween join The Claypool Lennon Delirium in Philly for “The Mollusk”
Just a few days after returning from Lockn Festival in Virginia, Dean Ween made a surprise appearance at The Fillmore with The Claypool Lennon Delirum. Shouts of “Deaner” could be heard as the New Hope native walked on during the opening notes of “The Mollusk,” a cover of the 1997 Ween track positioned between two numbers off of the Delirium’s Monolith of Phobos debut.
This wasn’t the first time Dean sat in with Lennon and his fishing partner: the pair traded guest spots back in June when The Dean Ween Group was supporting the Delirium on tour, which produced a “Southbound Pachyderm” collab (originally by Claypool’s Primus) and an earlier cover of “The Mollusk.”
