Earlier this month, we got to know the Philly hip-hop indietronica duo Camp Candle when the singer / guitarist Hetepsa and producer / multi-instrumentalist Nu Ra sat down for an interview with our John Morrison. The band’s ERE LP was a fresh debut in late June, and they’re already following it up with more vibes.

“One Day, My Friend” is out today, via Bandcamp, and over a dreamlike tapestry of Disclosure-esque beats and funky bass, Hetepsa shares a vision of unity: “on everything i’ll be the one / to make a claim our lives as one.”

Listen below. The band performs at Boot and Saddle on October 19th. More information on the show can be found at the XPN Concert Calendar.
