Haunted Homes rise from the dead to bring you “The Rattlesnake King”
Have you ever wondered what it would sound like if the ghost of Jesse James came back from the dead to front an ass-kicking rock band? If you’re anything like me, questions like that keep you up at night, but toss and turn no more–the new single from Haunted Homes is here. Old West cowboys may never have had access to iPods, but if they had, they would have loved to listen to “The Rattlesnake King” as they rode off into the sunset.
Haunted Homes proves that being a new band doesn’t mean you have to sound like one. With veteran Philly musicians from Northern Arms, Queen of Jeans, Hardwork Movement, and Tutlie, it’s no surprised that their music already has this much swagger to it. The same goes for the lyrics, which feature vocalist Travis Weissman admitting that he’s been drinking “all the whiskey in the world”. That’s a lot of whiskey, and this band has a lot of potential, so you definitely won’t want to miss their live debut at Everybody Hits with Dear Friend and The Insides this October 30th. They’re set to release another single that same night, but until then, check out “The Rattlesnake King” below via Haunted Homes’ Bandcamp.
