Sunday, November 13th sees the return of Hiss Golden Messenger to Philly for a show at Union Transfer. The band was recently in town and played WXPN’s Free At Noon to celebrate the release of their new album, Heart Like A Levee.

Below, watch a couple videos, including a session Hiss Golden Messenger did in North Carolina last Spring when David Dye and World Cafe traveled their for a Sense of Place series. During the session, Hiss Golden Messenger’s lead singer and guitarist M.C. Taylor was joined by frequent collaborators Phil and Brad Cook, singer Tift Merritt and Eric Heywood on pedal steel.
