Needle Points never wants the 70s to leave in new video for “Corazon”
Needle Points, a self-proclaimed “6-piece toddler age boogie band” from Philadelphia just released a new music video for their song “Corazon” from their latest release Feel Young (off of the band’s own label, NeedLove Records).
Needle Points rushes you into a symbolical adventure through Philadelphia, Brooklyn, and even parts of Stockholm. Filled with food shoes, psychedelic images of fun and freedom, and a large appetite for heart-shaped meals, the band takes you through what they describe as a day with “good food, good times and good friends.”
With Philadelphia’s own Scott McMicken (frontman of Dr. Dog) producing and performing guitars and keyboards on the track (and the rest of the LP), funky guitars keep this track upbeat and care-free, while a free-flowing baseline and simple beat recalls the ’70s vibe while delivering that power-pop fans know and love.
