Hardwork Movement bring the heat with new single “On The Rise”

On Friday night, Philly hip-hop collective Hardwork Movement will headline Johnny Brenda’s, and to coincide with that milestone, they’ll release a new mixtape called Draft Night. These Philadelphians have always been a band of mission statements, and they continue that trend with new single “On the Rise.”

With its jazzy, energetic instrumental and fiery verses, “On the Rise” will come as no surprise to anyone who’s been following Hardwork Movement as of late. As usual, they’re shouting out their city and prognosticating their success, but with every release, that confidence becomes more and more justified. The most notable change here is definitely the production, which sounds fuller and punchier than ever before. When they say Hardwork Movement “ain’t just a name,” I suggest you believe them.
