Battlefest, Drexel University’s annual free concert, happens tonight at the URBN Annex Black Box Theater. This year’s show will feature some of Philadelphia’s best up-and-coming artists, featuring indie-pop duo Liz de Lise, power trio Endless Taile, and Drexel student based outfits Tiger Oil and Drift.

This year, the show takes “a non-conventional form with all four bands set up in a semi-circle trading the audience’s attention in a rapid-fire, round-robin style, one song at a time.” In addition, the show sees the return of Flux, Drexel’s student run concert organization, staging Drexel yet again at the forefront of the DIY movement here in Philly.

Doors will open at 6:30, with performances beginning at 7, and all though there are no winners or looser of this battle, winning comes from hearing some fantastic music. To get you pumped for the show, watch Liz de Lise’s video for “Star Fire” below and get more information on the show here.
