Dave Hause recently made a return trip home to hang with the wonderful David Dye for a session on World Cafe. Hause talked about his new record Bury Me in Philly, an expansion on his hardcore roots that gives some callouts to Led Zeppelin and The Rolling Stones, and performs a couple tunes.
“It’s about falling in love,” says Hause about his new album “and taking a chance again, even when you start to get on the wrong end of your 30s and you could end up that cynical jaded person — and I’m fighting my hardest not to be that.”
Stream the session below and head over to VuHaus to watch him perform “The Flinch” at World Cafe Live here in Philly.
