Family Vacation’s Cody Bluett collects four years of unreleased ambient tracks on new solo outing

Cody Bluett, who we know from local indie punk band Family Vacation, released an interesting compilation containing unreleased recordings from his self-titled ambient solo project.

The smattering of expansive tracks are described as “one-off experiments with different instrumentation and recording processes” recorded during the process for his last two solo records, BI and BII. From the Chinaware-laced clinging of “Glass” to the isolating sadness of “My Room Is Cold”, this EP finds unconventional instrumentation to create some wordless perfection for those lonely evenings.
