Pine Barons lead March on Harrisburg benefit at Boot & Saddle
On May 13th, a group of Pennsylvanians will march from Philadelphia to the state capital in protest of a dysfunctional government. Leading up to the seven day March on Harrisburg, a local bill led by Pine Barons will support the movement’s efforts with a benefit show at Boot & Saddle on Sunday, May 7th.
The Jersey-born Pine Barons have stayed on top of our favorites list for a few years, despite having just one album under their belt. That’s about to change, though, when the quintet makes good on hints of a follow-up record expected this year. They shared a sneak peek of the sophomore effort last fall with a video for “Alliterate Breed,” which you can watch below.
Joining Pine Barons for the benefit are Ceramic Animal and Tioga, with The Key’s John Vettese DJing between sets. Pick up tickets for the 21+ show here.
