Let’s take a moment and give it up for the champs over at Out of Town Films. I know they consistently provide us with some great music sessions, but this one really deserves a nice, long slow clap, because they’ve truly outdone themselves.

The local film collective must’ve wrangled the mystical stars into perfect alignment because they somehow, some way, were able to gather Sad13, Shamir, The Dove and the Wolf, and Queen of Jeans together in a South Philly gym to perform a 90s cover of their choosing.

What followed was the rare, comet-like spectacle of the Philly supergroup, The Dove Jeans & Sad Shamir, playing the Cranberries’ classic alt-rock hit, “Linger.”

According to UPROXX, the bands had only practiced separately before the day of the shoot, so the beauty you see and hear is pure, fateful music magic. Watch below to see The Dove and the Wolf take up lead vocals, Shamir and Miriam Devora meld in some flawless harmonies, and Sad13 and Queen of Jeans slow jam with a lot of guitars.

You can catch The Dove and the Wolf and Queen of Jeans at Underground Arts on October 12th as part of Red Bull Sound Select’s Three Day Fest. Info on the show can be found here.
