Watch Haim play Something to Tell You standouts in new video Valentine
Haim season is evidently still in full swing, and we couldn’t be happier about it. XPN’s favorite sister trio released their highly anticipated sophomore album Something to Tell You in July, and in the spring we shared the band’s Paul Thomas Anderson-directed teaser video for “Right Now.” Now, Haim is back with another Anderson collaboration — the 14-minute short film Valentine.
The film, which went live on YouTube via the band’s Twitter this week, shows the Haim sisters playing songs from the recent album live at Los Angeles’ Valentine Recording Studios. Standout tracks like “Right Now,” “Something to Tell You,” and “Nothing’s Wrong” come alive in the video, giving us a behind-the-scenes peek into the sisters’ recording process.

It’s been since 2014 that Haim played a Philly show, and even longer since they were XPN’s Artist to Watch, so here’s hoping that the Something to Tell You touring cycle brings them back our way soon.
