Laura Marling left us speechless with her powerful strength in delicacy this past spring at Non-COMM, where she performed her acclaimed 2017 album Semper Femina. Now, she’s managed to gift the world with another new track just before the year ends.

And not just any tune, but a cover of a Bob Dylan, classic, no less, as Marling weaves her own unique storyteller prowess throughout the track, “A Hard Rain’s A Gonna Fall.” Though still keeping reverence to the original, Marling’s rendition could definitely be seen as a song all her own, as she infuses a heightened sense of bright urgency and adventure to the track.
