Hear new tracks from Honeytiger, Doggo, Anna Ladd and more on The Hook’s benefit comp EP
Philly music blog, The Hook, recently compiled a benefit EP titled The Winter Album, which features tracks from local artists Honeytiger, Doggo, Downtrodder, Anna Ladd, and Psycle.
Each of the five tracks on the EP are new, unreleased songs, which range from Honeytiger’s bluesy garage rock fuzz of “Going to England,” Doggo’s crunchy and swirling, “Donnie McNarb Super Bowl Champion XXIII,” Downtrodder’s blaring bout of truth in “Trashlisted,” Anna Ladd’s moving, soft-folk ballad, “Jawline,” and Psycle’s heavy battle cry, “Face the Fire.”
All download proceeds go to the Philadelphia Non-Profit, Women Organized Against Rape (WOAR), whose mission states: “to eliminate all forms of sexual violence through specialized treatment services, comprehensive prevention education programs, and advocacy for the rights of victims of sexual assault.”
