Phoebe Bridgers, Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus make their Late Night debut as boygenius with “Me & My Dog”
boygenius is one of those collaborations that feels too good to be true. The indie singer-songwriters Phoebe Bridgers, Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus, met while on tour and since then have been making waves in the music world with their individual albums, as well as their new collective project.
Their self-titled EP is available on streaming services, but will release physically via Matador Records on Nov. 9. Last night, the band made their television debut on Late Night with Seth Meyers, playing “Me & My Dog.” Behind them, a drum riser spelled out “VOTE,” a subtle but firm reminder on the eve of election day.
