Queen of Jeans gets their community involved in new “Only Obvious To You” video
Queen of Jeans‘ new album If you’re not afraid, I’m not afraid comes out this Friday on Topshelf Records, and ahead of the the release they’ve shared one last single, “Only Obvious To You.” The band premiered the “v queer & fun” video for the track on their IGTV last week, and now it’s out on YouTube, too — you can watch it below.
“With the video, we wanted to showcase the LGBTQIAP+ community because that’s our experience of love,” guitarist Mattie Glass says of the video, which the band shot on their iPhones during Philly’s Pride festival earlier this summer. “It’s not to say that our community experiences more or less of the pain of love – it’s just that we experience the same amount as everyone else.”
Queen of Jeans will play a record release show Boot & Saddle on September 6, and return for a show at The Foundry on November 17 with From Indian Lakes. Find tickets and more information on both on the XPN Concert Calendar.
