Philly singer-songwriter Joshua Chase Miller has a soulful, serene sound, and it fills his new EP Mend, which was self-released on Friday. Featuring five tracks including “Visitors” and “Old Oak,” which he also recorded live for WXPN at his Key Studio Session in 2017, the EP is filled with the same passion and emotion he brought to From Within, his debut release from 2015. This time, he takes a more reflective tone on tracks like the yearning “Chaos,” while keeping the feeling of nostalgia right on cue.

Listen to Mend below, and catch Joshua Chase Miller at Bourbon & Branch Saturday September 21st at 8:30 for his EP release show. Tickets and more information can be found at the XPN Concert Calendar.
